Privacy

Your snapshots stay on your Mac.

Last updated July 16, 2026

Network requests you start

SiteReceipt connects only after you enter a public HTTP or HTTPS URL and start a capture. It requests the selected origin, its robots policy when enabled and eligible same-origin resources within the limits you set. It does not accept credentials or follow cross-origin resources.

Local processing and exports

Response inspection, reference rewriting, offline validation, prior-manifest comparison and SHA-256 hashing happen in the native app. SiteReceipt writes captured files and receipt artifacts only to the export location you choose. The current build does not upload snapshots to Shipmac.

Website and checkout

This website may produce ordinary server access logs. Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record under its own privacy terms. Shipmac receives the purchase details needed to deliver and support the app; payment-card details are not handled by the app.

Diagnostics

No automatic crash-reporting service is enabled in the current app build. If you voluntarily send Shipmac a receipt or sample site details for support, they will be used only to investigate the issue you reported.

Changes

This policy will be updated before release if SiteReceipt adds an optional network service, diagnostics provider or checkout processor.

Website analytics

This website loads Google Analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. When enabled, Shipmac measures page visits, the product hostname and checkout starts; it does not send files or content processed by the Mac app. You can change your choice at any time using Analytics choices.
