Bounded website snapshots for macOS
Capture the site.
Keep the receipt.
Download one small public website within explicit limits, verify its local links and assets, and keep a portable record of every captured, skipped or broken resource.
Inside the actual app
A website copy you can inspect, not just trust.
The native workspace keeps the bounded capture contract on the left, live resource evidence in the center and robots, offline-link and prior-snapshot results on the right.
Built for the real handoff
One focused app.
Four jobs done.
Client handoffs
Keep a bounded reference copy before a redesign or migration without turning the app into a broad crawler.
Documentation sites
Carry a small static documentation set for offline reading and see which assets did not make the trip.
Release evidence
Compare a new snapshot manifest with a prior capture and retain hashes for the files that were actually written.
Site maintenance
Surface broken internal resources and unsupported dependencies before a human decides what needs attention.

From first record
to finished handoff.
Set the capture contract
Enter one public site URL, choose explicit page, file and byte limits, and review the robots setting before SiteReceipt sends a request.
Watch the evidence
The bounded crawl follows only same-origin static references, streams responses under the byte cap and records redirects, blocks, failures and unsupported resources.
Commit a verified snapshot
SiteReceipt rewrites captured references, checks local targets, compares an optional prior manifest and atomically creates a new receipt folder with SHA-256 evidence.
Focused by design
Useful depth.
No account clutter.
Single-origin boundary
Same-origin redirects may be followed safely; cross-origin links, assets and redirects are evidence only.
Hard capture limits
Bound page, file and total response bytes before the run, with streaming enforcement rather than a post-download warning.
Honest robots handling
Respect robots by default, fail closed when an existing policy cannot be read and record an explicit override.
Offline reference rewriting
Rewrite supported captured HTML and CSS references to local files and report any target that cannot be resolved.
Portable snapshot proof
Export a JSON manifest, readable receipt, SHA-256 checksum list and optional prior-manifest change summary.

SiteReceipt FAQ
What does SiteReceipt capture?+
It captures supported static HTML, CSS, images and fonts from one public HTTP or HTTPS origin, within page, file and byte limits you set before the run.
Will a JavaScript app work offline?+
Not necessarily. SiteReceipt does not execute JavaScript or promise an interactive web app replay. Scripts, media and unsupported content stay visible as skipped evidence.
Can it log in or bypass access controls?+
No. SiteReceipt accepts no credentials, does not bypass authentication and records 401 or 403 responses as broken evidence without retrying.
Does it crawl other domains?+
No. The capture stays on the approved origin. Cross-origin links, assets and redirects are recorded but never followed.
How does robots.txt work?+
Robots handling is on by default. A readable policy is applied before capture; an existing but unreadable policy fails closed. You can explicitly disable respect for a run, and the receipt records that decision.
What does the export contain?+
A successful export includes the offline files, snapshot-manifest.json, snapshot-receipt.md and MANIFEST.sha256. Rewritten local targets are checked before the new export folder is committed.
How much will SiteReceipt cost?+
The price is US$29 as a one-time purchase for one Mac, with no subscription. Secure checkout and DMG delivery are handled by Polar.
